A month ago, Mojang released Minecraft 1.14 Java Edition “The village and Pillage” update. As from the start there were huge problems. The most common one was chunks not loading or disappearing while flying with Elytra or creative flight. But also light updates not correctly been done, fighting the Ender Dragon is broken and more.

Why are they’re releasing a broken version you think. Well Minecraft is this year 10 years. The update was been planned/rushed to release before they’re actual 10 year anniversary.

1.14.1

Minecraft 1.14.1 was released 2 weeks after the big update. Fixing some major bugs as chunk rendering and light update. Light update is bugged when the world is reloaded or the server is restarted.

1.14.2

Minecraft 1.14.2 will soon been released and should fix a lot of bugs that 1.14 has from the start. Light update should be fixed and we can fight the Ender Dragon like we should.

FUTURE OF 1.14.X

There are a lot of new features like the new traders GUI of the villager, the new blocks, Items and Entitys. There is a possibility it will be good. But i’m waiting to do a playthrough until all the major bugs have been fixed.

Minecraft Forge will be released when Mojang introduces a stable version of it. MCP does a good job to deobfuscate the source, so we can jump into modded minecraft as of the moment its been released.

FINAL WORD

There is a reason why i stick to Minecraft 1.12.2 for this moment. It feels much smoother. Things works so much better.

WILL MORE REFINED STORAGE HAVE A RELEASE ON 1.14.X

I dont know. My mod depends on Refined Storage and Reborn Storage. As of they’re ported/rewrited for 1.14, i do it immediately.
